Maxamed Cali is a Somali entrepreneur, media leader, and political figure dedicated to advancing peace, unity, and development in Somalia.

In 2008, Maxamed entered national politics, running for the Presidency of Somalia. Though he did not win, his campaign reflected his deep commitment to reform and building a stable and prosperous nation. His experience in politics inspired him to continue working toward positive change, both inside Somalia and within the Somali diaspora.

Now based in Minnesota, USA, Maxamed is the President and owner of Somali Community Radio, a platform that connects, informs, and empowers Somali communities locally and globally. He is also a successful businessman, owning and managing Madina Mall along with other enterprises that provide jobs and support economic growth. In pursuit of his vision for a better Somalia, Maxamed recently established the Somali Youth Party in Mogadishu. The party is committed to democratic reform, peacebuilding, and creating opportunities for young people. Through this political platform, he aims to address regional inequalities, promote unity, and lead initiatives for long-lasting peace and development.
